The Malay/Muslim Community of Singapore recently organised an Appreciation Dinner for Mr Lee Hsien Loong for having served the nation with honour and distinction as our Prime Minister from 2004 to 2024. Over 600 guests from the Malay/Muslim community – including serving and retired Members of Parliament, and leaders from community, religious and youth groups – attended the Appreciation Dinner on Friday, 20 September 2024 held at Max Atria, Singapore EXPO. Mr Lee was presented with a sculpture as our community’s appreciation gift. The sculpture entitled “In Conversation” was crafted by our master potter, Dr Iskandar Jalil. It depicts the sincere connections between the community and Mr Lee over the years. Let’s continue to progress towards a better and brighter future for all!

Last Saturday, around 70 youth and students attended Aeroviation Open House at Aerospace. Graced by Fahmi Aliman, the event organised by MENDAKI Professional Networks for Aviation, is all about empowering aspiring youth to discover the many career pathways and opportunities in the aviation industry. From pilots to aircraft maintenance specialists, air traffic controllers to educators, we are coming together to inspire and support the community.
