We are pleased to share an update on the Corporate Service Providers Bill (CSP Bill) and Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships Bill (CLLPMA Bill) that was passed on 2 July, 2024. This legislation seeks to strengthen Singapore’s anti-money laundering regime and aid in efforts to deter and combat financial crime. The CSP Bill will enhance Singapore’s regulatory regime for corporate service providers (CSPs), while the CLLPMA Bill complements the CSP Bill by enhancing the transparency of beneficial ownership of companies and limited liability partnerships.
