We are excited to share that Subway® has officially opened its first restaurant in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on July 5th, 2024. This milestone follows a master franchise agreement with Juulchin LLC, a subsidiary of Tavan Bogd Group. Located at Galleria Ulaanbaatar, right in the city center and next to the iconic Sukhbaatar Square, the Subway® restaurant seats 38 guests and is conveniently located beside the main entrance of the mall on the ground floor. “Asia-Pacific is an important region for our international expansion efforts, with untapped markets and increasing consumer demand for Subway. The potential for growth is substantial,” said John Chidsey, CEO of Subway. Subway Cares Foundation® - Making a Difference in the Philippines 💚 At Subway®, the strength of our community shines brightly. Earlier this year, our dedicated employees came together to raise funds for regional food banks as part of our Subway® Cares Cup charity initiative. We are thrilled to share that the APAC region proudly supported the Philippines Food Bank Foundation. 🤝Thanks to the boundless generosity of our team, we’ve made a remarkable impact on families in need across the Philippines. The Philippines Food Bank Foundation has packed and distributed 1,660 bags filled with enough food to support a family of five for up to two weeks, totaling over 100,000 meals 🍴! I’m happy to share the success of my important project in this year with incredible Taiwan team and the strong support from Subway® Asia Pacific especially from Janet Sheen and Tan Heng Mun, also the amazing design from Hnin Phyu Pwint Hlaing ! Subway Taiwan returned to the tradeshow after a 4-year hiatus. We received valuable feedback from potential franchisees and customers.
