8BitDo Pro 2 (Hall Effect Joystick)

I've experienced drifting in the right stick. I had to connect the controller to the app just to get rid of the dead zone. I'm glad the the ultimate software helped with the drift, but utterly infuriated that the controller had the drifting problem from the start.This is my third pro2 controller and it's going to be my last.

I bought the ALPS joystick variant that was on discount and is a great replacement to my original SN30 Pro+. The GB edition is the absolute best variant of the SN30 series for the dpad alone, the softness and smoothness is so much better than the rougher SNES-styled dpad and I wish that option was available for more 8bitdo controllers.

I purchased 4 Hall Effect controllers from 8bitdo, and all of them have malfunctioning joysticks on both sticks at any given time. I did not realize all of them were bad outside of the 30 day return window. I will not be purchasing 8bitdo controllers again until a new revision is released with the corrections.

Good, durable and responsive. I’m using the second one as I wore out the first one. Keep up the good work.
