With cyber crime on the rise and with the tactics of cyber criminals becoming more and more sophisticated, companies need to be extra vigilant when it comes to cyber security. This is especially important for small and medium sized businesses that are now becoming easier targets due to new optimized technologies which enable cyber criminals to go after these types of companies at much lower costs than before. Dr. Alex Heublein of Netsurit shares some really great insights and tips about navigating these security risks on the latest episode of our podcast, so if you run or work at an SMB, make sure to check it out on Spotify, Apple Music or any other podcasting app you prefer. Just look for Agile Digital Transformation Podcast, you'll easily find it there, along with over 150 other insightful episodes on tech & digital transformation. Even with the abundance of highly capable decoupled content management platforms and other no-code/low-code tools for creating digital experiences, development work is often still needed for custom features, integrations, upgrades, etc. However, if no-code/low-code offers so much functionality in a user-friendly fashion, it would make little sense for businesses and organizations without frequent and/or substantial development needs to invest in enhancing in-house development capabilities. In a lot of cases, it is safer and more efficient to entrust the development of a custom feature or a complex integration to a company specializing in development rather than wanting to do it all by yourself in house. Even with a strong in-house development team, you might want to rely on staff augmentation for one-off projects, such as a migration or an integration with a technology in which none of your in-house developers specialize.
