🚨 Slovenian doctors and business leaders together on urgent solutions for public healthcare 💬 The messages of the🔎 AmCham Focus on Health, organized last week by the AmCham Health and Wellbeing Committee in cooperation with Zdravniška zbornica Slovenije The Medical Chamber of Slovenia and Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije, with the support of the Gospodarski krog, continue to echo strongly. Ursa Lakner, Country Lead Adriatic, Pfizer and Co-Chair of the AmCham Health and Wellbeing Committee, warned that without trust in the health system, improvements will not be possible: "The state has never proven to be a good manager, and if a doctor is willing to work additional hours in the afternoons, this should not be an issue. Limiting this without agreement from doctors and the chamber will only worsen waiting times... A good manager needs dialogue partners to make sound decisions." Prof. Uroš Ahčan, MD, PhD, Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, emphasised that the aim of the healthcare system should be more quality services and better accessibility for patients: "It is necessary to open as many doors as possible, whether in the private or public sector, so that patients can get the help they need as soon as possible. Talking about a non-compete clauses in the case of treating sick people is morally and ethically questionable for me. Zadnje novice v preteklih tednih o odpuščanjih in selitvah proizvodnje v nekaterih podjetjih so pretresle Slovenijo. Odločitve niso presenečenje. Povzročena je zaradi šibkega povpraševanja v evropskem avtomobilskem sektorju, ki podjetja sili v doseganje stroškovne učinkovitosti in strukturno preoblikovanje. Podobne informacije prihajajo tudi iz številnih drugih podjetij. Gospodarski krog opozarja, da poslovanje podjetjem še posebej v takšnih zaostrenih gospodarskih razmerah dodatno otežuje še nekonkurenčno poslovno okolje v Sloveniji. Da slednje drži, dokazujejo tudi selitve proizvodnje nekaterih podjetij v tuje države. Predlogi gospodarstva so na mizi; čas je, da jih vlada preuči, sprejme in uresniči. Gospodarski krog pozdravlja intenziviranje pogovorov med vlado in predvsem prizadetim avtomobilskim sektorjem v zadnjih dveh tednih, a potrebni so čimprejšnji konkretni ukrepi. ⬇️ -Gospodarski krog sestavlja 17 gospodarskih in kmetijskih združenjih in organizacij v Sloveniji.
