Forbes Communications Council appointed Katja Fasink as member leader of the Crisis Communication Group. Operatively orchestrating communication activities of critical infrastructure, investments, interstate connectivity, extreme weather conditions, unstable or damaged systems, working accidents, corporate activism, and preparing public crisis messages for a national communication plan for energy crises resulted in developing the most resilient communication techniques that can be interdisciplinarily interlaced. Communicators are the most valuable and the most critical operatives in a time of crisis, exposed to the highest level of stress and dangers. Predicting the risks and documenting them by operational interlaced protocols that will protect all the stakeholders and employees is the main challenge for all communication strategists. It is an inevitable fact that, especially in times of crisis, maximum results from the directors of communication and their teams are expected. The Crisis Communications group will serve as a reliable basis for risk management in several industries and create the first target group where we will unite communicators worldwide who are interested or/and operatively involved in (complex) crisis communication. In recent years, Katja has been nominated several times for the main prize in crisis communication from the DAVOS WCFA and Energy Awards.
