    Prejšnji teden smo se na dogodku Univerze v Ljubljani za projekt GETM4 udeležili zanimive debate, kjer je naš direktor Saso Palcic delil nekaj svojih izkušenj iz poslovnih vod. Pogovarjali smo se o podjetniški rasti, izzivih in priložnostih, ki nas čakajo. 🚀 Vedno je super biti del pogovorov, kjer se ne vrtimo okrog generičnih floskul, ampak konkretno debatiramo, kaj nas čaka v prihodnosti in kako se lahko bolje pripravimo na izzive. Hvala za povabilo – bilo je super slišati različne poglede, pa tudi podeliti kakšen nasvet za druge. 😉

    🌟 Afternoon Highlights from the University of Ljubljana Sandpit for the GETM4 Project! 🌟 The afternoon began with Andreja Kodrin, Director of the Quintaum Institute, who delivered an insightful session on diagnosing future-ready organisations. Her talk provided valuable frameworks and strategies for assessing and preparing organisations for future challenges. Following this, Edita Krajnovic from Mediade d. o. o. led a compelling presentation and panel discussion featuring Slovenian champions of sustainable entrepreneurial growth. The session highlighted success stories and best practices, sparking engaging discussions on sustainable business practices. Mediade, a corporate partner of the GETM4 project, is an innovation communication company specializing in B2B marketing, known for its contributions to national projects like Gazelle, Golden Thread, and Female Engineer of the Year. This “corporate day” at the sandpit also counted with other leaders of some very successful small and medium-sized enterprises: Intera, Mikro+Polo and Madwise . The afternoon continued with an inspiring presentation and panel discussion by Metka Škofic from Mediade on empowering talents and innovation. This session celebrated the achievements of female engineers and explored ways to foster innovation and talent in the engineering field. It was an afternoon filled with learning, inspiration, and networking. Izhajali smo iz nove celostne grafične podobe, ki smo jo ustvarili ob prenovi spletne strani bb.si, ki je luč sveta ugledala julija. Cilj?     The cost of advertising keeps going up … 🔺 Luckily, there's a strategic way to mitigate the impact ▶️ Increase your average order value. Why is this important? A higher AOV means higher margins and more wiggle room to absorb the rising costs of ads. How can you increase your AOV? Here are 5 ways: ✔️ Cross-Sell Suggest other relevant products or products with special prices that customers might be interested in adding to their order. ✔️ Bundle Deals  Offer related products as a bundle at an attractive price. ✔️ Volume Discounts  Offer discounts when customers buy more than one product. Think of tiered discounts like "buy 2 and get 5% off / buy 3 and get 7% off", and so forth. ✔️ Reward Thresholds  Encourage higher AOV by offering rewards like free shipping or a gift with purchase when customers reach a specific order value. The higher the order value, the more rewards they can unlock. ✔️ Product Customization Offer customization options for an additional charge, such as name engraving or personalized greeting messages.     Don't just run FB ads... The goal is to run them wisely. The secret sauce comes from strategic planning, data-driven 📈 optimization, and a deep understanding of your audience. We've seen countless brands making the following mistakes: ✔️ Targeting too broad or too narrow ✔️ Not optimizing ads for mobile experience ✔️ Not customizing creatives for different placements ✔️ No understanding of customer journey ✔️ Over-reliance on platform data ✔️ Inconsistent performance analysis ✔️ Checking and tweaking campaigns every day (or even every few hours) What we learned: ✅ Make sure your ads look great on all devices, especially mobile. ✅ Test different ad formats to see what works best for your brand. ✅ Focus on specific angles that resonate with your audience segments. ✅ Regularly analyze data to identify opportunities and optimize performance. ✅ Get insights into your customer journey that will inform your cross-channel strategy ✅ Go beyond platform data with 3rd party attribution tools for a clearer picture.     Have you ever crafted a fantastic ad, only to find it's not driving any sales? Sound familiar? Here's a tip to help turn ↩ things around. 1. Extract the post ID from the ad and put it in a separate post engagement campaign. Use a small budget, and run with one or two ad sets for a few days to generate a significant amount of post likes and comments. 2. Utilize this post ID for a boosted post in your sales campaign, and give it another run for a few days. Based on our experience, it has often yielded remarkable results. ✨ If the approach is not working, retry in a few days, weeks, or even months.     Should you exclude purchasers from your retargeting? A debatable question that is not so easy to answer, like many things in digital advertising. 😉 There is always a fear your audience will be saturated too much and will create a negative feeling toward the brand. But it is not necessarily like that. Here's why: ✔ Purchasers may still be willing to stock some more after seeing your ad, even if they purchased. ✔ They could decide to buy other products if they are reminded with the ad. ✔ They are more likely to recommend the product to friends and family after reviewing the ad if they are satisfied. So give it a try and test the approach without exclusions, if you did otherwise before. The results might surprise you. Also, let us know what approach you usually take in remarketing.
