Yesterday at #EuroHPCUserDay was full of insightful discussions, useful information and technical presentations, showcasing the research enabled by the #EuroHPC #supercomputers! ⚡️ This morning we kicked off again with a panel all about user support, exploring the various initiatives that are available to help users get the most out of our systems! Next up we have some informal walk-in feedback sessions with projects, #CoEs, the #EuroHPC Peer Review Team and the recently launched User Forum Coordination Group! 📣 Day 2 of #EuroHPCUserDay is here! Welcome everyone back to the Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam for another day of insightful discussions! The day will start again at 9:00AM with a panel discussion focusing on applications and skills, featuring experts from EuroCC Netherlands , EuroCC Italy, EPICURE Project, and EXCELLERAT2. Following the panel session, attendees can engage in walk-in networking sessions to provide feedback and seek advice on specific #EuroHPC user needs: 1️⃣CoEs (Cheese2, Esiwace, POP3, EoCoE Centre of Excellence: HPC for energy, MAX) 2️⃣Application Support & Skills (CASTIEL project, MultiXscale, NCCs, EPICURE) 3️⃣ EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) Peer-Review Team & User Forum Coordination Group New entry for the User Day will be the award session, that will take place at noon to spotlighting key innovations and accomplishments in the field of #AI and #HPC. #ExascaleDay: Inspiring Future Scientists 💻🔬🔭🧬 To celebrate Exascale Day, the #MultiXscale CoE in partnership with NCC Slovenia and EuroCC SLING, opened the doors of the Kemijski inštitut - National Institute of Chemistry to students from local primary and high schools. The day starts at 9:00 AM with the opening session, followed by a presentation on key updates on EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) supercomputers, including the state of play on available systems and results from EuroHPC JU calls. Following, attendees will be able to explore topics related to user support opportunities.
