🏆 Our winners of the #MapYourCity Challenge have been announced 🏆 Nicolas Longépé announced the winners of our challenge yesterday during the URBIS24 Workshop, hosted at the ESRIN's premises of the European Space Agency - ESA. Tune in to the recording 📺 to see our winners (almost) live, explaining their great solutions: https://lnkd.in/ecExZPzr Speaking of the winners, we would like to congratulate: 🥇TelePIX (South Korea): "Bigger is better, so choosing the right pre-trained dataset was pivotal." And it showed. Using EVA, TelePIX deployed cutting-edge #AI tools which only recently reached SOTA status on ImageNet. With their innovative approach they scored our first prize. 박재완, Hagai Raja Sinulingga, Steve Immanuel 🥈 cmb (Japan): Using a two type approach consisting of classification network training and inference on full modalities, and inference on only 2 top view modalities, cmb scored our second prize. 🥉 The AI Buzzard (Germany): Using a multi-modal model with pretrained encoders and attention-based late fusion, the team at AI Buzzard first trained on all data and later fine-tuned to individual countries. Congratulations, this approach granted the team a great third prize. Dla zobrazowania obecnej sytuacji powodziowej dobrze się jest wesprzeć technologiami kosmicznymi. Poniżej customowe przetworzenia dane SAR z serii Sentinel-1 (European Space Agency - ESA) by Sentinel Hub. Dziś (15.09), godzina 7:01 (rano). Tego typu dane możliwe są do pozyskania bez względu na zachmurzenie. Widoczne 3 kierunki naporu wody w kierunku Wrocławia (strzałki). IMGW zaktualizowała modele, które przewidują zalanie części Wrocławia. Na podstawie poniższej analizy można też wnioskować, że mocno zagrożone będą też Opole czy Brzeg oraz właściwie wszystkie miejscowości "po drodze". Co najważniejsze: analiza tego typu może powstać w kilka chwil i jest dostępna dla każdego bezpłatnie na platformie Sentinel Hub lub CREODIAS (by CloudFerro S.A.). Istnieje też możliwość szybkiego eksportu tych warstw do środowisk GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS). Skrypt w komentarzu.
