⚽ This past Sunday, we hosted a fantastic Charity Football Cup 🏆, bringing together our employees and their families for a day filled with team spirit 👻 and a shared commitment to supporting families in need. 💞 We are thrilled to announce that, together, we raised 10,000 € for the "Úsmev ako dar" foundation, contributing to the renovation of social housing. These funds will directly help provide a safe and stable home for families in need. 💫 A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed! Special recognition goes to our amazing football players ⚽, who not only showcased their athletic skills but also their generosity and compassion 🌟. 🙏 Special thanks also to Igor Stančik, our HR Vice President, and Radoslav Dráb from the "Úsmev ako dar" foundation, who opened the Football tournament. It was a privilege to host our former colleague, Monika Poussard, who has recently stepped into the prominent role of General Plant Director at Stellantis in Trnava. Her journey and insights were truly inspiring for all of us! Monika's appointment marks a significant step forward for gender diversity in leadership roles within the automotive industry. With over 25 years of experience in this field, she shared valuable insights and motivation to all of us 🚗. With a network of 223 internal trainers - colleagues - we're able to share knowledge and help our people grow across the business. Today we'd like to introduce you to one of our GURU VOICE: Zuzana Fabianova. GURU VOICE is a person who understands the trainers´ needs and can bring them on the table. If we had to describe her in three words, they would be: energy, optimism, and professionalism with a smile 😊. She joined Tečko in 2017 as a project manager, moved to the role of product owner and now she's an agile coach for several teams.  She also leads the international part of the SKILL LAB project, which focuses on agile training and development. As a dedicated internal coach, she actively trains her colleagues in Agile Facilitation, Design Thinking, Visual Facilitation and more. In 2024, she was honoured as a GURU VOICE within our internal trainer community, the most popular trainer in the community - a recognition she truly deserves 🙌 Congratulations. 🎓 Last Friday, students showed off their creativity and skills at the TOP Student Project competition. The event was organized in UVP TECHNICOM by colleagues from Innovlab_Kosice. In the 4th year of the competition, we are glad to report that more than 30 students from Technical University of Košice and Univerzita 'Pavla Jozefa Šafárika' v Košiciach applied to the competition concerning the best final student thesis. 👏 It’s a great example of how connecting universities, businesses, and fresh thinking from the new generation can bring real change and help the Košice region grow. 👏 Big congratulations to students. 🚀 Last week, Testathon 2024, organized in Bratislava in cooperation with KRONE | consulting services |, brought together professionals and testers from 5 countries – Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Spain and Greece. 💪✨ The main objective was to test and improve the new Mockstudio module within our internal Calypso application. The international teams faced technical challenges and had to rely on strong teamwork to succeed. The tasks included functional, security and compatibility testing at both front-end and back-end levels. Various technologies such as JAVA, Python, Selenium, Playwright, TOSCA, Hoppscotch and of course ChatGPT (MATE) were used. And the results? 🎯 We identified 123 bugs, including two with the highest impact, developed scalable designs for the test automation framework. Moreover, we created new ideas for analyzing AI-generated models within the Mockstudio module. Congratulations to the winners in all 3 categories. We are pleased to have been a 💎 diamond partner at the "Welcome Back to Work" autumn 🍂 cocktail event organized by AmCham Slovakia in cooperation with Business Košice. This networking opportunity provided a great platform to discuss and celebrate the potential of Eastern Slovakia. The event brought together the Mayors of Košice and Prešov, as well as representatives from important businesses, fostering an atmosphere for finding solutions. Our CEO, Andreas Truls, emphasized the need to enhance the competitiveness of our region in his opening speech.   An engaging panel discussion on the brand and identity of Eastern Slovakia featured insights from our colleague Pavol Mirossay and other local personalities, highlighting opportunities💡 and challenges❗ ahead. They emphasized the importance of taking collective actions for the entire region of Eastern Slovakia, rather than focusing solely on a single city.   During the event, we recognized and awarded 🏆 enthusiastic participants who contributed to the Mapping the Potential of Eastern Slovakia initiative, which spanned over a year. Additionally, a new soft-landing platform „Brainport Košice“ 🪄was introduced, aimed at improving the experience of foreign workers visiting or relocating to Košice.   🤝 We extend our thanks to AmCham and Business Košice for organizing this wonderful networking opportunity, allowing us to reconnect and share inspiring thoughts.

Last year, these young and skilled girls made it to the TOP 5 at the Innovation Day organized by Innovlab_Kosice. Even though they didn’t take home the win, they kept going. Thanks to mentors from Innovlab Kosice they’ve turned their vision into reality. The app DormCom is an application that connects student dormitories and brings all the important information together in one place 🚀 It is currently in beta and ready to be tested with the university.
