More model informationA recreation of the holotape model from Fallout 3 & New Vegas
This model makes heavy use of weighted vertex normals. As a result, the additional geometry solely exists to add depth when viewed at grazing angles. This means the normal map will also work on a simple beveled box mesh without artifacts or shading errors.
In addition, this model was textured entirely within Blender using shader nodes, painted masks and textures acquired from sites like Textures.com and Poliigon.
