Invest Salone is a sustainable development programme which aims to help Sierra Leone realise the benefits of international trade and raise the incomes of 370,000 people by 2025 through investment climate reforms, market systems development and export promotion.

    💼 In 2.5 years, PROSPER Salone has supported 13 firms to become more productive and investment ready. PROSPER Salone is a grant matching facility financed by the UK Government. We support investment in #SierraLeone by funding activities aimed at reducing the risks of market entry, such as scoping trips, feasibility studies, pipeline development, due diligence and business viability.     🤝 Through a participatory and consultative process, with support from Invest Salone, the National Investment Board (NIB) is developing a National Investment Strategy for #SierraLeone. ☝ Invest Salone and the NIB are engaging key stakeholders to identify strategic priorities and opportunities to shape the strategy and help establish Sierra Leone as a leading regional and global hub for attracting, retaining and expanding investment. As part of this process, two consultative sessions on the NIS were organised – hosting representatives from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies, as well as key private sector actors. The strategy will serve as a comprehensive guide for all investment-related matters to help drive economic growth in Sierra Leone. Stay tuned to find out more.
