India crushed South Africa by seven wickets, inside two days, in the second Test between the two side at the Newlands to move to the top of the World Test Championships 2023-25 points table.

Despite the defeat South Africa stayed second in the points table, courtesy of its win against India earlier in the series.
Pakistan, which was placed second, saw a dip in percentage after the 0-2 Test series loss against Australia. The defending champion has accumulated 12 points and is currently placed fourth.
