The 48th edition of the Copa America will get underway on June 20 with the USA set to host the tournament.
The tournament will have 10 teams from the South America and six from the North America taking part, with the final set to take place on July 14 in Florida.
PUMA Cumbre is the match ball of the Copa America 2024 edition.
As per the tournament organisers, Cumbre represents the passion of the continent’s football, the values and characteristics of the competition, as well as the connectivity that the tournament generates between nations across the Americas.
Its design is based on the shape of the continent and its 16 lines refer to the total number of countries that will compete in the tournament.

NIKE FLIGHT - BRAZIL, 2021
This was the last Nike match ball used in Copa America before it switched to Puma for this edition.
To reduce wobble and create a consistent flight, the Nike Equipment Innovation Lab designed Nike AerowSculpt, an aerodynamic technology engineered to promotes air movement around the ball rather than gripping its surface.
It was also used in the 2020/21 Premier League season.
NIKE RABISCO - BRAZIL, 2019
Ronaldinho unveiled the Copa America ball 2019 “Rabisco” derived from the the Brazilian word “rabisqueiro” which means “great skill”.
The design and material was similar to Merlin with a graffiti paint effect.
The Merlin was used in the 2019/20 Premier League and Serie A season.
NIKE ORDEM CIENTO - (CENTENARIO) USA, 2016
Nike Ordem Ciento was the match ball of the 2016 Copa America, which was the last time the competition was held in USA,which was the only time it was held outside South America.
The competition was a special one to celebrate CONMEBOL’s hundredth year.
Based on the Nike Ordem 4 ball design which was used for the Premier League ball 2016/17, the ball’s design was influenced by the colors of the US flag.
NIKE CACHANA - CHILE, 2015
Nike Cachana was based on the ordem series and used in the 2015 Copa America held in Chile.
The name derived from Chilean Spanish translation of ‘cachana’ referred to “dribbling“, a slang term in Chilean street football. The ball wass designed with white with blue and red applications, representing the colours of the Chilean flag.
NIKE TOTAL 90 TRACER DOMA - ARGENTINA, 2011
The Nike Total 90 Tracer was the match ball for Copa America 2011 held in Argentina.
It carried the same technology as it’s Ascente predecessor, and introduced ‘blocked’ graphic pods used to create high level visual acuity, allowing players to see and track the ball more easily.
It was also used in the 2010/11 Premier League season.
NIKE MERCURIAL VELOCI - VENEZUELA, 2007
Nike Mercurial Veloci was the match ball used in the 2007 Copa America held in Venezuela.
It was also used in the 2007 AFC Asian Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
NIKE TOTAL 90 AEROW CSE - PERU, 2004
The first edition of the Nike Aerow series was the NikeTotal 90 Aerow I which was used in the 2004 Coap America held in Peru.
The Total 90 Aerow was tested for over 100 hours in the lab and deemed to be the most accurate ball ever made at its time.
It was also used in the 2004/05 Premier League season.
PENALTY STAR - COLOMBIA, 2001
Penalty, a Brazilian company, made Penalty Star which was the match ball used in the 2001 Copa America held in Colombia.
PENALTY AMERICAS - BOLIVIA, 1997
Penalty Americas was the name of official match ball of Copa America 1997 in Bolivia.
