Downtown has been the better team but has failed to take chances, while Mohun Bagan has failed to assert its dominance but has taken the chance it fell on its way. 

Calvin gets yellow card for pulling down Ashish Rai, who was making a brilliant run from the right flank. 

Eight minutes added on by the officials after several injury delays in the second half. 

Downtown Heroes wins a corner and is cleared by Dheeraj, who was not sure what to do before punching it out. 

DHFC gets another corner. 

As Zahid receives treatment, Sumit Raathi is taken off on stretchers. 

Zahid goes out and is replaced by Dheeraj. 

Injury concerns for Mohun Bagan custodian Zahid. He’s getting treatment on the field. That match has been stopped by the referee. 

He was quick to come off his line and collided with onrushing Snorton. 

Mohun Bagan has gone defensive after breaking the deadlock. It can prove costly for the Mariners as Downtown Heroes has quality players in its ranks. 

Suhail scores for the defending champions. The boy from Kashmir scores against a side from his native state. 

A brilliant counter attack is caped off by a simple tap in. 

Downton gets a corner. 

MBSG goalkeeper completely misses it and the ball goes out without taking a touch from any player. Any touch could have been fatal for Mohun Bagan. 

Basit gets a yellow card for a challenge on Rana. 

Tyson is down and receiving treatment on the field. 

There is no creativity in Mohun Bagan’s midfield. The players are not looking to play quick decisive passes. 

Tyson registers Mohun Bagan first shot on target in the second half. However, it was a tame effort from outside of the box. 

Mohun Bagan is still struggling in its build up and playing too many sideways passes. 

Downton Heroes are constantly testing Mohun Bagan’s defenders, while the Kolkata- giants are yet to create good chances. 

Snorton is easily getting past the Mohun Bagan defence. He plays a cross field pass for Inam, who tries a spectacular volley from outside the box but fails to make good contact. 

Mohun Bagan has started the second half with intent but is still struggling in the midfield. 

DHFC gets a free-kick near the half way line but fails to take advantage of the set piece yet again. It needs to put in better ball from deadball situations. 

Rana plays a good ball for Suhail inside the box but the striker fails to control the ball. 

Snorton is down injured after a tackle by Rana. The Liberian forward seems to be okay to continue. 

The second half of the Mohun Bagan Super Giant vs Downtown Heroes FC is under way.

Aafreen is substituted for Downtown, Imad has come out.

Mohun Bagan living dangerously, Downtown has been the better team.

Aldered fouls Snorton, who was on a goal bound run after a mistake from Mohun Bagan defence. 

Downton gets a corner after the free-kick was blocked. 

Mariners with sluggish build ups are not able to venture deep into Downtown’s final third. They need to move the ball quicker. 

Mohun Bagan goes on a quick counter after defending the corner. Tyson was making a purposeful run from the right flank and was stopped by a unlawful tackle from Inam. He gets into the book of the referee. 

Aafreen cuts in from the left flank and shots, Aldered deflects it out. Corner for the visitors. 

Downton gets yet another corner from the resulting set piece. 

Mohun Bagan gets a corner via its lone striker Suhail. Downton defence clears it without any fuss. 

A huge let off for Mohun Bagan, Snorton takes on the defence on the left flank and cut in before unleashing a fierce shot which goes whiskers wide off the target. 

A wake up call for the defending champion. 

The Mohun Bagan defence led by the Aldered is looing slow as Snorton and Aafreen showing their pace. 

Suhail gets another corner for the defending champion. However, Downton is defending well from set pieces. 

Suhail fails to take advantage of a defensive lapse from the DHFC defenders. 

The MBSG midfield is yet to assert it dominance. The defending champion has been the more defensive side in the last 27 minutes. 

Affreen is fouled just outside the penalty box. A brilliant situation for Downtown. However, Hyder blasts the ball to the stands. 

Mohun Bagan looks surprise by Downtown Heroes’ press, the Kashmir-based club has competed well so far. However, it has failed to take advantage of chances. 

Ashish Rai plays a floated ball for Suhail but Umaid once comes out to collect it early. 

Mohun Bagan tries a long ball aimed at Suhail, but Downtown keeper was alert and gets their ahead of the MBSG striker. 

Downtown goes on attack and gets its first corner of the match via Affreen. 

The Mariners, playing a second-string side, are looking a bit uncomfortable. They can’t seem to find the combination in midfield. 

Ashish gets a free-kick near the right corner flag. Downton keeper makes a brilliant save to deny Tyson’s dipping attempt. 

Mohun Bagan gets the first corner of the match after yet another attack from the left flank. However, the Mariners fails to take advantage of the set piece situation. 

The club from Kashmir, playing its second Durand Cup, has made a good start to the match against the defending champion. DHFC is venturing into the final third but can’t seem to find the final pass. 

Both teams are trying to assert their presence on the field. Dowtown goes on attack with a defence-splitting pass from Atassi to the right winger but Mohun Bagan custodian Zahid makes a smart save to deny them an early lead. 

Mohun Bagan tries to put early pressure on the newcomers from the left flank but gives away the ball for a goal kick to Downtown Heroes.
