Scope

Standardization in terms of safety of: (i) welded round steel link chains and chain slings; (ii) steel wire ropes, their terminations and wire rope slings; (iii) fibre ropes, fibre rope slings, flat textile slings and round slings; (iv) hooks and other accessories; used for lifting (lifting includes: raising, lowering and suspending) purposes.
