Good practice recommendations for making management recommendations tailored for the EU fleet operating outside European waters |
The overall purpose and objective of the workshop is to develop consensus-based guidelines for developing MRs tailored for the EU fleet operating outside European waters. The guidelines are to provide a methodology for how to identify important issues that hinder environmental, social and economic sustainability of the fisheries in questions, and a framework on how to develop guidelines for resolving these issues, in cocreation with stakeholders. The guidelines are to follow the Results-Based Management (RBM) approach and draw upon experience from work carried out in the FarFish project, where such guidelines have been developed and tested.
