Abstract/Scope | This document specifies minimum requirements for powered Respiratory Protective Devices (RPD) incorporating a tight-fitting respiratory interface. It does not cover devices designed for use in circumstances where there is or might be an oxygen deficiency. Escape RPD and filters for use against CO are not covered by this document. Laboratory tests and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements. |
