CS 1.6 does not run. WHY!?
When I execute the game, I can see the main menu screenshot but instantly the game closes. WHY!?

When's the last time you ran it? 25th anniversary update caused a lot of chaos, mine didn't run at all until I reinstalled. It was because of a mod.

Probably nothing a verification or reinstall couldn't solve though.
