Why isn't a nation raiding your provinces repeatedly enough justification for war I go to war on Numidia after they repeatedly raided my provinces and get a message saying it was with no real justification ( which I'm guessing makes other nations less friendly towards mine?)...

I know it's meant to keep you guessing and planning at all times, but I'm not sure the "you have to respect the decisions of local governors" excuse washes. I built a wax workshop in one of my settlements, a rare and high-value good, so surely the next logical step would be to build a candle shop to make use of it? No, the "local governor" instead wanted to build a blacksmith. Is there any logic happening behind the scenes, or are the building choices purely RNG? I guess I just want to be convinced of the...

Lets get something to bring this game up to date!

I know they might break some spears and shields , but speartips aren't a lot of metal. Nor are shield rims. Ican definititely understand them needing metal upkeep for some repairs and replacements after battles, but 4 a turn per unit seems excessive.

With the release of Kingdoms, now would be a great opportunity to make some improvements to Empires. I'd be more than happy to pay for some new DLC to help finance this. The current campaigns cover 550BCE to 330BCE and 310BCE to 190CE. How about a campaign covering the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, continuing from 190CE ? An earlier Chariot Wars campaign would also be great. I'd happily pay for both of these!...
