Endings?
I know im late to the party, but i just finished this a little bit ago and i have a few questions. I got ending 3 where i kill thrash and then die to lotia it was a satisfying ending. I think im gonna try for ending 4 next because i feel like its probably the best ending for imos (you know what i mean) but here are my questions. Does imos kill himself in ending 1? also i saw a screenshot where aina is standing on the mountain with imos at the end of the game, how does she escape? I really really need a happy ending for her because she was best girl and got treated TERRIBLY. Which ending do i have to go for to see that?
Can someone spoil endings 5 and 6 for me? I really dont know if ill be up for going through again after i get ending 4 just to see 5 and 6.

Ending 1 Imos gives up

Ending 2 Imos commits suicide after the events of being locked in that room.

Ending 3 Lotia proceeds to attack Imos out of anger and kills Imos for killing Thrash (the real reason she kills you)

Ending 4 Imos ill let you see it before i explain how bad it actually is.

Ending 5 Imos beats Lotia in a fight, Lotia tries to guilt trip Imos using really messed up accusations she and who she allied with were guilty of, Imos starts giving in to said messed up logic and nearly decides to let her kill him, clone Lotia sees real Lotia as a threat to Imos life and kills her

Lotia apologizes then dies and Imos sinks into despair spawning extremely powerful monsters that procced to

Kill Shum, Tear off Aces hands and kill other random Dracovalis that are trying to kill the Demon Lord.

Soul burned Imos, Al and Demon Lord go to the Holy Grounds to kill the dragons, Earth and Lightning are lovers and purposefully sent Thrash to Imos village because they wanted to watch the drama unfold

Both dragons laughed at Imos and laughed at Lotia because she made up flimsy excuses for all of her horrible decisions, they get killed

Fire dragon believes that only the strong are allowed to survive and make choices

Wind Dragon is a coward that tries to stab them in the back

Ice Dragon secretly hated Aina and made a deal with Adamantine dragon to set Aina up to get raped by Shum and force her to bear stronger children

All the dragons die

Goddess Phenice doesnt care shes driving mankinds desire out of control, she believes shes doing what man wants by amplifying their urges for violence, sex and glory

Thus she set up a system for people like Imos to always lose

She set up a system where Dracovalis would drive an innocent man to madness who would then become a false demon lord for the Dracovalis to kill to give the Dracovalis a reason to use their powers and breed with each other to make more powerful and beautiful children

She wanted this cycle to repeat until there were 2 classes of humans, the ugly who had no rights and the strong and beautiful who would rule them

Imos and co. Kill Phenice and Demon Lord holds on to her soul

Imos and Aina scene is her in a round about fashion asking him not to die, since he has little time left to live, she tells him about the aftermath and of certain ppls fates and then thanks him for all of his sacrifices before leaving

Imos dies shortly after

Ending 5: Imos says "this is fine" and sentences mankind to an apathetic extinction because all desire is lost this no one wants to breed anymore, Aina is freed because Shum is dead, Tori is taking care of a mentally broken Ace, Lotia and Thrash are both dead, Assym is angry at Imos

Ending 6: Imos says "im not sure" the same events play out but later in the future an anomaly occurs and a child is born, Demon Lord asks the child if they are willing to endure pain if it means giving mankind back its passion

Child says yes

Demon Lord puts the goddess soul into the child markinf the eventual rebirth of the goddess and the Demon Lord eventually being forced into becoming mans enemy once more

She prays someone like Imos will fight for what is right and break the cycle permanently.

The Aina screenshot is from Ending 5-6. After killing the Dragons, humanity loses their ambition and desires, so they probably just let her go since they would have no motivation to keep her.

Schum dies in every ending except 1-2 so you can imagine she escapes in 3-4 as well, although that question is left open since the Dragons still being alive means humanity hasn't changed outside of a couple of dead people.

Honestly you should just get the last two endings yourself since it's the final ones of the game but here's a quasi-summary near the end.

Thanks, i realized last night that i can ng+ and skip right to the end where the paths diverge. Got 3 and 4 so far, shouldnt take too long to get 5 and 6.

HAHAHAHAHA NO.
just finished 5 and 6 and i can say that this game has me feeling some things. THP is probably my favorite rpg i have ever played. its dark and hopeless, but i really feel like no other game in this ntr/depression genre can ever compete. which is sad, becuase i feel like this is really the cream of the crop and its all downhill from here. i wonder if NTRPG 2 will even compare to this

actually you killed the other dragon so only the demon dragon and the holy dragon stay alive while the other are dead
omspecialk 17 Sep, 2020 @ 1:34pm
Incorrect. You kill phenice. Thats why the dark dragon is carrying around her soul and why mankind loses all their desires.

The dark dragon in ending 6 even says allowing the dragon to be "reborn" in the new child will create more suffering.
Tho i wonder why ace is the only one to survive even if he loose is hand while all other are dead
omspecialk 18 Sep, 2020 @ 6:27pm
Ace was cruel irony directed at Tori.

He survives as a way for the writers to put Tori in a worse position than when she was with her brother, who she basically told to scram.

Basically Tori threw away her friends and family to join the winning team who in ending 5 and 6 become the losers.

tbh I don't even know what loli-chan is thinking in ending 6 anymore. why would she of all people let the suffering continue? she's the most discriminated among everyone. even more so than Imos. her only true "friend" (and that's stretching it) is Imos and Aru. everyone else hates her. even the child that will supposedly reincarnate the holy dragon will eventually hate her. so why?

She asked the child if he wanted the world to be reborn since the child was an anomaly, it means that things deemed impossible are possible.

Basically she loves humanity despite its flaws and wants a world where humanity, the dragons etc are better than they were but if she becomes the worlds enemy she hopes another Imos will fight for them.

She wants the cycle to break, she loves humanity and the anomalous child was a trigger of hope...

As utterly ridiculous as hoping is considering...

This is my personal interpretation but I figure that the entire End 5/6 conversation (and honestly the entire game) serves as an allegory for the real world - we will never live in a world without conflict. A world where no one hurts each other and everyone lives happily is just a fantasy - a world with no conflict would realistically look more like End 5.

In End 6, you choose to accept that the real world is one where the possibility of heart-rending pain will always exist. In the real world, there probably exist countless of Imos being stepped on by the Thrash and Dragons of the world, but now that you've experienced the story, you can choose to stand by the Imos of the world, instead of turning a blind eye like Asim, or the townspeople who choose to instantly turn on Imos despite the smear story being absolutely flimsy by any regards (I know a few people consider that part of the story to be "very unrealistic" but I feel like this era really showcases how easy it is for people to buy into false narratives.)

(Something I thought was interesting from the game files is the last map of the game where this scene occurs is named "そして道無き勇者達へ" - doesn't it feel like Behernicht is looking at the camera and talking to you directly?)

oh that one line with that really big sprite of her hugging air. I initially thought she's embracing the child there which is why I couldn't understand why would she choose this end. she of all people.

and if the author truly intended that line to be a 4th wall break, then sorry but you truly lost my immersion there.

or, and this is just me totally, we SHOULDN'T embrace her last line considering she's dark element. that the only true option for us is ending 5 if we want to break the cycle of suffering.

Yes its a allegory to numerous rpg deconstructions, its takes its allegories from aspects of the real world to challenge and question the usual aspects of rpg stories.

It challenges the entire concept of the love interest/ family being a good people at all - imos vs Lotia and Tori

It challenges the concept of love , respect and honesty itself vs how easily you can be replaced - Imos vs Lotia

It challenges the concept of value, who has it, who does not and how that value can change at a moments notice -imos vs Aina then Aina vs Shum

It challenges the concept of justice itself, justice without power and natural order - Imos vs Thrash

It challenges gains vs cutting your loses - normal ending

It challenges the consequences of not letting go - ending 2 - suicide/ ending 4 - outcast / ending 5 - solitude/ ending 6 - death

It challenges a lot of things too many things to post.

It questions numerous aspects of social commentary and the world we built vs the worlds built in rpgs.

I tried guys, I really did, but yea I can handle a lot of dark gritty stuff, ntr and the likes but this.....this game it's a little to dark for me, I can see it challenges alot of stuff and am sure it's good, but.................yea.
So I'll take some recommendations for similar titles that may not be so dark but still have some ntr, don't even have to have that for that matter.
