Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection

New update; game not launching any more

Before today, I was able to launch the collection without any problems. Today, Steam downloaded an update for it, and it no longer launches. I click on it, get a black screen, and it quickly closes. I know people reported problems with older OSs (Win7, ...), but I'm using Windows 10. Anyone getting the same problem? Any tips on how to potentially fix this? thanks...

If you're having trouble obtaining 150,000 points (and to a much lesser extent 50,000 points), this short guide will help. You'll have 50,000 points midway through Level 2. About 1/3 of the way through Level 3, you'll rack up 150,000 points.

Can't launch this game

Keep on getting the launching the game dialog box, which later disappears and nothing happens. Is it because it won't accept Windows 7?

Pleasantly surprised!

I just bought this heavily discounted and I am pleasantly surprised. The games look and sound beautiful! There are options for full customization of the gamepad, including rapid fire. I bought this solely for Scramble. I love how Scramble is the default game. The gamepad controls fine, except for the tunnel stage for which the thumbstick is too sensitive for such precision that is needed, but I was able to adjust my technique and with the help of the save function completed the level. Faithful and accurate. I just wish that the english version of A-Jax was included instead of Typhoon; the level order is different. A-jax level 2 (the jet level) is level 1 of Typhoon, and lvl 3 of a-jax is the first heli level in Typhoon (swapped with level 1 of A-jax; which is level 3 in typhoon).

A-jax level 3 (Typhoon level 2) is LUDICROUSLY hard to start without powerups compared to Ajax level 1 (Typhoon 3). It's a damn shame, A-jax is a great game.
