Didn't like the first one, but the sequel fixes almost all of the problems and adds a ton more and adds on top of that.

Only reason I heard of this game is the crossover with Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals. Glad the game was on sale and I got it for about 2 ish dollars.

Very fun game and I can see why it is beloved. If you want to go for 100% there is a guide to help you out on Steam. I did have to use it twice when I got stuck but, once I understood it then clicked what the clues I was given in-game meant.

Dark Song's scream of death before chasing you will live rent free in my head.

Coma 2 takes core gameplay of the first game and builds on it, making it a vastly better game than the predecessor.

Aside of a couple of cool interactive encounters, the core gameplay is mostly unchanged. You are sneaking around eerie places, hiding from a scary lady that chases you when you are spotted. Unlike the first game tho, many different locations are provided to explore here instead of keeping all the action inside a school, which keep things fresh and makes the game feel less stale (which was a must since this game is twice as long). The core gameplay got improved and the game feels more smooth and way less random and frustrating to play through compared to Coma 1.

Visually there have been tremendous improvements too, the drawings have vastly more quality and details. Also alot of cool touches like using Manga (Manhwa?) style panels to showcase cutszenes have been great.

Storytelling is put together and presented way better and coherent. The first game relied too much on having the player read Notes to understand whats going on, which was thankfully no longer the case here.

Summary: Basically an upgrade in nearly all apects of the game with twice the length, definetely worth playing.
