It wasn't always so zoomed out was it...? And weird low FPS
I swear the game is different somehow. I was playing it on my steamdeck for awhile and it's incredibly zoomed in on the close setting and an ok overview distance when zoomed out... but on PC now it's SO FAR OUT even when close and the whole map when zoomed out. I'm on a 34" ultrawide but the sprites are so freaking tiny.

I'm also getting 70FPS with a good PC and I used to do 165FPS. Did the updates make the game run really poorly or something? My GPU utilization won't seem to go up anyway.

Mouse scroll toggles zoom.

it only has two modes and both are far out now though. its weird because on steamdeck it gets much closer.

I'm betting its the difference in resolution. Try lowering your resolution just to see how it affects the zoom levels relative distance.
