I have one criteria to decide buying a flight game - can I play it with my HOTAS setup / does it have universal joystick support. Robust control options should be the most basic aspect of any flight combat game.

You just need a storyline at least at the level of budget games, 30+ various missions, graphics, music and sound of at least average quality. A recent example of the "Project Wingman".

I hope that players will be able to chose either Hud or Cockpit views. Nothing more than non immersive third person views (following the airplane). A real deal breaker for me and many virtual pilots. Might as well ask for gamepad/controller (Xbox style) compatibility, with reverse axis option. These features will boost eventual sales and customer reviews on the positive side. Air Combat MF is on my wish list....
