[PSA] [MODS] [11/5] Modding Beta Now Available

Hello Players/Modders

You can now create and publish mods for Humankind.

Players Wanting To Use Mods

There are more details in the announcement but to find mods go to

* Content
* Mods
* Connect your Steam account to mod.io
* Click "browse mods"

From there you can browse and subscribe to mods you want to

You can manage mods you have subscribe from in the "Mods" section by enabling/disabling specific mods you want to use.

Creating And Publishing Mods

If you're a modder and want to get started on creating mods, there's a tutorial on how to start in the announcement above.

To get started you should see the mod tool for Humankind under

Tools->Humankind Mod Tools

Ensure you filter your library for "TOOLS" to see it.

Any plans for mods to be usable by Mac users? Mod Tools would be nice too if possible

Can you update to either make mods stay on after closing the game? Or have mods load automatically when loading a modded save?

.....or is there a mod for that? lol

In the main menu of the game the left hand side should have a button called "EXTRAS" then click "COMMUNITY"

After that you'll see MODS on the left hand side

Try to make it simplier to load mods that have been used in a previuos game.
For instance when loading a saved game, a pop up with the question "Do you want to load the mods used for this save? (Y/N)"
If the user press yes then the game could automaticly choose the same list of mods in the same order that correspond with that save.

I buy a lot of games from Amplitude Studios, and I really appreciate that you're adding mods, Users love mods, I understand how difficult it must be to make user mods fully functional or every game would have them.

I'm sorry some people don't have more patience with you. Please tell the Devs Merry Christmas. <3

Sorry they moved the menu item to Content->Mods instead

I would like to report but i don't where to go so if the developers see this cool. Now the bug i am reporting i don't if true bug or not but it's confusing me Your math in game is of by quite bit off i am producing of 3,000 food only eat 2,660 so there should 340 food left but nope only 40 food how Same goes for production show 360 when should have 460 so were extra going if any can tell me i will be thankful. P.S sorry about spelling i am not good at it.
