That shouldn't affect maps, though. If you're talking about user-made custom maps, how did you get them? Mod.io or the Steam Workshop?
My own character disappeared, but I can still use other people's characters.
And the mod.io section shows that I have a map subscription, but it doesn't show up in the game.
Another part is that the in-game archive and the map I created manually have disappeared, and I'm sure they're both still in the folder (D:\Documents\Humankind).
It looks like it's not reading my previous records, I don't know why.
Your avatar you might simply need to redownload (you can download your persona from G2G in he share menu), but the maps not showing up is strange.
Could you tell us which map you are subscribed to?
Do you remember when you made your own maps?
I'm trying to understand if maybe there is a compatibility issue
I'm having an issue with a map mod from Steam Workshop not showing up too. I downloaded Huge Earth for Humankind - All DLC Natural Wonders, started game and the mods was not showing up under the mods section in game. Yet when I go to map editor it shows I have an earth huge map titled Earth Huge (Oscar) V4. But can't find how to load the map into game. It does give me the option to upload to Steam Workshop or Mod IO, but I don't want to upload someone else work.
