love it

This game still has some work to be done regarding the pacing of the quests and a couple of other things. However, I know this game is early access and I'm excited for what's to come! It's a cute game that reminds me of a mix between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. Definitely been enjoying it so far.

This is easily my favorite game I've played this year. Despite being in early access, it very much is a fully fleshed out game with a main questline with many side quests. If you are into immersing yourself into farming sims and decorating, you can get 100+ hours in this game! Don't let the early access tag scare you off, it's definitely worth picking up. The developers are very active as well, continuing to add new things and fixing bugs. You can tell the developers put a lot of love and care into this game. I'm excited for what new things are to come!

There is so much this game does right and if you like farming sims or are a fan of Animal Crossing, I would recommend this 100%. Another thing, this game has it listed as "mostly playable with a controller" but I've been playing this solely on one and it works just fine. There are some occasional bugs with it, but nothing too frustrating and the developers are quickly ironing out the kinks.

First off, Snacko has by far has the best decorating mechanic I've seen in any game like this. The way the developers have handled it is so good! You get a lot of freedom with it, and it's easy to use. You can also use a grid locking system to help you place things just right. You can get very creative with it and I've spent so many hours just decorating my house, farm and town. You can dye just about anything in the game, including the buildings you place! There is a ton of furniture you can unlock and craft.

An interesting spin to this game that not many farming sims have is rebuilding a town by scratch. You first start with a town full of rubble. After clearing it, you are able to invite new villagers and then place new buildings such as shops or homes in the town. You can decorate everything in this game! It's really satisfying to make the town your own. With a recent update, you now can invite all villagers to the island with every shop in game which really makes the town lively! There is also a museum in the center that lets you donate fish, food, furniture and paintings.

With farming, I'm happy with how the game handles it. You can plant seeds out of season with some exceptions and plant things in winter time! When playing farming sims, I always hated crops being locked to one season. Instead, there are peak growing seasons where selling the crop yields higher pay. You can also improve crop quality by either using fertilizer or with the seed maker.

Outside of farming, there are four biomes you can unlock and explore that are really breathtaking to look at and it. There's more to them besides collecting resources and fishing. You can hunt for hidden chests, play shrine mini-games and explore the mines. At the time of reviewing only one mine is accessible but they are planning on adding a mine to each biome in a future update.

Another nice little thing that sets it apart from others in this genre is the mini-games, like a pinball gatcha game with daily prizes and the previously mentioned shrine challenges. With shrines, you can work towards lowering the time you take completing them and speedrun it if you are into that. It's a nice change of pace playing them! Little things like these are nice to see.

Overall, I highly recommend this game!
