I have yet to see Tamerkhan not die to Kholek before turn 10-15
Tamerkhan has dominated once, hasn't survived past turn 30 since.
Elspeth struggles but manages to hang in there well into turn 100. But by the skin of her teeth.
The only 1 that always manages to be strong in my campaigns is N'kari who always seems to dominate Ulthuan.
this "no variation problem" exist since warhammer 1 .... so this is not new.
i allways dislike that the AI gets very small very fast in every match. I think they can´t do it better. Same with the AI in general. Behind the scene the game work too much scripted so the freedom the game tries to show not really exist....
but all in all i go with your statement.
In a patch or two they will quitely nerf them and the cycle continues.
Malakai either fare meh or gets wiped out, but Tamurkhan is very strong indeed
Epidemius is weak af
Are you always playing the same faction?
I think the most consistent performers from my observations are Ungrim, Belegar and Morathi.
I've seen Elspeth dominate and be dominated by the VC. The Maggot Lord would always wipe out Kolek but since the patch all the Chaos factions have been banding together in my recent plays, but the ML is still a pain, along with the fat slug, wiped out three mid game imperial armies on his own. The Chaos Dwarfs are probably the most pay to win faction put in the game though, the first time i came up against blunderbusses and didn't known what they did, i blinked and my lvl 50 lord was deleted. Same with the Quake mortars....madness.
Most veteran players have been asking for a long time for an option to use the random seed, mostly to boost certain factions that will undoubtedly oppose you but it's just another thing on the LONG LONG list of things players would like CA to do.
