The rare sequel that innovates instead of just giving more of the same, and which has almost double the content of the original to boot. If the narrative can deliver, it might even outdo the original Hades. Here's hoping Supergiant can bedazzle once again. So mote it be.

Worthy successor of Hades. More magic focused gameplay helps with keeping both games slightly different and fresh. Plot splitting in two paths is a very pleasant addition. Smooth and enjoyable combat, a bit of grinding, great music and good characters.
Recommended in present state and I'm waiting for full release.

this is game super... the bosses even include a giant... we need more of similar games...

I came into this game with low expectations, thinking how could they do better than Hades 1? I stand corrected.

It's time to kill time. And so much more.

Pros:
1. Everything. Story, combat, satisfying
2. Runs on your potato PC. With a 3080, I get 120 FPS stable.
3. Everything. Insanely fun, just did a bunch of 32 heat clears, and after 120+ clears there is still MORE dialogue, and stuff to do. It does not end. Totally worth the money,
4. Its not even at 1.0 yet.

Cons:
1. No multiplayer. I know Hades isn't supposed to be, but TMNT Splintered Fate was based on Hades and did multiplayer.
2. Still have to wait for 1.0 as of today. Personally feels like its already at 1.0. Just some wait to know the ending
