Hey, everyone! It's been a few months since the last update and I wanted to let you know how things are looking. The short answer is that we should have a complete game in a few months but are planning for a release in the second half of the year to give us time to do more testing and then marketing, etc.

One thing I'd like to correct from my November update is that polishing seems like it's a bigger share of the remaining work than I thought. We're having to clean up some prehistoric code and confront decisions we made for speed (?!) in the early days (in GameMaker Studio 1, no less). Thankfully, it's been nothing too crazy and to be honest the housekeeping feels quite satisfying - it's nice that we're finally at the point where we can make it a priority.

And dang, the latest builds with all the stuff are really putting a big smile on my face. It's magical to see things come together after a long journey like this. Please don't ask me my favorite of these 50 games - I love them all!

Can't wait to see which games you all end up enjoying most, though.
