Bug Reporting Guidelines
If you run into a potential bug, here are a few guidelines on how to report it to help us find a fix as quickly as possible.

General
1) Which version are you playing?
Please tell us the version number displayed in the Main Menu (e.g. 1.0.06) so we can make sure you have the latest fixes installed.

2) Are you playing in VR or non-VR mode?
Sometimes a bug will exist in both modes, but knowing which mode you're playing in helps us narrow down the potential causes. (For VR issues, see the "VR Mode" section below.)

3) Try sending us a save file.
Often the quickest way for us to find out what's going wrong is to test your save ourselves.

To send us a file, you can either join our Discord[discord.gg] and send a message to SkywardRob or SkywardSam, or just send us an email (linked on our website here[skywarddigital.co.uk]).

Copy and paste the following into File Explorer to find the saves folder:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Skyward Digital\Buccaneers\Saves
Your saves are located in folders named "Slot#", where "#" is the campaign number you see in the Load Game menu.

If you don't see the AppData folder while browsing, make sure "Show hidden files" is enabled in File Explorer.

VR Mode
1) Please check the VR Support FAQ first.
If the game isn't launching in VR mode or the controls aren't working as expected, the steps in the support FAQ might help.

2) Which headset, controllers and OpenXR runtime are you using?
This will help us determine whether the issue is device-specific or not. If the game launches correctly in VR mode, you can see the OpenXR runtime displayed in the Main Menu.


We try to respond to reports as soon as we can, though please bear in mind we are based in the UK and are less active outside of work hours.
