I too want to customize my character to immediately cover them in Armour and then never see the customizations again! It's critically important that I not be able to see my customized characters while the camera is 100ft in the air! /s

Give us male and female body types and tunic color like TQ1

Gameplay, story, masteries balance, builds variety, good itemization, bug fix... Spend energy on these things please. Don't waste time,.money, energy on character customisation.

Some basic customization would be nice. As you are not picking a class that has a specific look, but everyone will start off from the same template, being able to differentiate your chars a bit through means other than just worn gear would help in making visually distinct characters.

But no reason to go overboard with it.

I'd be happy with just a slender build and jacked build for both body types, multiple skin colors and a handful of different hairstyles.

I don't play Path of Exile and a handful of other games mainly because the char creation options don't suit me. Diablo 4's suits me so I play it. That simple lol. Just put plenty of options so people can build what they want is all I'm suggesting. It doesn't have to be Starfield or Cyberpunk level or whatever. Just pretty good, not bad. Also, not ugly :). Speaking of Starfield--great example of char creation, esp compared to Fallout 4 or 76. It's hard to go back to those games after the new version of the Bethesda stuff.

I guess what I'm saying is don't exclude people because they can't build a char they like. There are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of games I don't play because I don't like the protagonist. Another example: that new Ubisoft Star Wars game. I don't understand why they don't let you just customize that lady--they'd sell 1 billion more games IMHO.

Another ex: Mass Effect. How many copies would have never sold if we had to be the default Shep w the shaved head and the line. And how many more copies of XYZ game would they sell if they let you customize the protagonist? It boggles my mind why companies don't allow you to customize the main char. I'd have 5,000 hours in Horizon Zero Dawn for instance. Or Dishonored. The only reason I play AC: Valhalla and SW: Outcast, etc is that someone modded in the ability to customize the main char. For games like Senua I can see why they leave it since it's the actress and stuff. But yeah for the most part people don't want to play the peer-reviewed protagonist made by committee to appeal to the most demographics or wahtever. They want to make their own dude. I guess what I'm saying is if you want me to buy your game dont make me play some crap main char. I am not touching that Ubisoft SW game. Maybe if you could mod the main char like they do AC: Valhalla.

I fail to see how that adds any value in a top down arpg in which equipment defines how you look anway. Fallout 4 is mediocre and 76 is garbage, AC games are soulless filler. Starfield is the same. And stop talking like you speak for the majority of players.
I am not against it, but it shouldn't be a priority in a game like this for obvious reasons.

And compare it to Jagged Alliance. One has no playtime and no char creation and one has 100 hours and (modded) char creation. You do the math. Anyway I won't be buying the game if the char creation sucks so whatever anyway. Math and stuff. Speaking of math, I don't know why you came at me with such aggression but check your attitude dork.

I didn't buy the Titan Quest expansions either. No char creation, no fun. If you want my money, make it. If not, all good. I don't really care.

Anyway unsubbed. It was fun being attacked by strangers on the steam forums but I have things to do.

im just a lil bored of action hero man in every game ya know. its the reason i only play 1 AC game, the one you can actually customize the protagonist. Your argument is that I'm literally the only person on earth who is this way and that, for instance, it didn't matter that char creation was in ME or wathever.
