Audio is cooked again.
3 times this week ive been shot from behind by a Valk that used their jets with zero audio. And now im getting shanked in the back by Buster Swords with no audio. Hasnt this been an issue since like Season 10? Or has it always been and it happens on occasion more often? The Valk ♥♥♥♥♥ is infuriating.

It's been an issue since season 1. It seems the game drops footstep audio when there is alot of other sounds going on, particulary in gun fights or when a player drops down from an elevated surface (specifically, landing after a grapple hook). They tried to fix it a few times, resulting in hearing footseps from a half a map away and other similar problems. But whatever the issue is, it's assumed to be hard coded and unlikely to ever get fixed.

That actually explains a lot on why Pathfinder can just show up to fights out of no where. Its definitely server side but its more than just footsteps. The footsteps issue is like every other season. Im talking the Buster Sword making no noise when equipped or swung and then the Valk jets. I think even wrecking ball can be silent sometimes too. Its pretty frustrating either way.

For me the game started to mute sounds of teams that I spectate (after my squad is wiped).

The "no sound behind me" I have since season 1 - on multiple different pc, isp and os.
