Apex Legends is one of the more entertaining, beautifully balanced, and gorgeous games in the Battle Royale genre.
The fact that it is free is delightful, and a good move by Respawn Entertainment.

如果你没打过排位，从零开始简直不可能上分，更别提其他模式了，体验感爆炸。
所以，今天我彻底卸载了，真的玩腻了。
还是要谢谢《Apex》陪我度过了很多美好时光，尤其是疫情那会儿，但对我来说，这次是真的再见了。

I've been playing apex since release, I'm a day 1 player. I started on console with well over a few thousand hours and I have 330 hrs on PC. I've played every game mode, LTM, event and I play ranked every other season. I have thousands of kills, millions of damage dealt, just as many deaths Lol. Apex is a game I've always played, at one point I loved this game and it's all I played. But as time went on it got more and more infested with hackers, people making smurf accounts to grind and sell. The player count has been so up and down, especially lately with the player count dropping from 600K to 90K just this season. It's mainly because of EA. Every cosmetic these days are dull and rushed, 90% of the time it's a recolor. They'll drop one skin and charge $40 for it because it comes in a bundle with a sticker and weapon charm. I mean for God's sake the entirety of their 6th year anniversary was just skins they already released. They didn't even attempt to reward the players who have stuck by them for 6 years through some of their worst times. Which every season seems to be worse than the former so that's saying a lot. They don't listen to the players, ever. In game audio has been a problem since release and they either make it worse or don't fix it. I can hear teammates foot steps louder than gunfire but a full team of metal characters can sneak up on me full sprinting and using abilities. Ridiculous. But the reason I can't recommend Apex the most is because it isn't new player friendly. The people who are playing have done so for 6yrs. You can't possibly catch up to us, you just can't. The learning curve is difficult and the skill based matchmaking (SBMM) is bad. You have one decent game and you'll be fighting the top 500 best on PC, Pros, Streamers, Content creators, Kill grinders, Leader board holders. I've introduced countless people to Apex and have watched them drop the game one after another because they simply can't keep up. This game doesn't make it easy. I mean half the time our new players are fighting hackers or smurfs making new accounts to farm them for badges and stats. Unless you're like me and have spent a ridiculous amount of time and money on this game you don't want to lose by simply quitting then I wouldn't recommend playing. If I didn't have so much to lose I would've quit playing so long ago. This is entirely my own experiences and opinion, just know it's a very seasoned opinion. I have played all but one singular season. This game gets worse with time.

Dropped Linux support? Very well, goodbye. Boy am I glad I didn't spend any serious money on this game.

Pray, suffer me a moment to discourse upon a matter most vexatious, that of Apex , a game most wretched in its design, and ruinous in its execution. Verily, I had approached it with a heart buoyed by hope, expecting the thrill of gallant combat and the camaraderie of noble warriors. Yet, what did I find but a chaotic farce, a travesty of skillful engagement, wherein chance and folly govern the day?

The mechanics, crude as a blacksmith’s anvil, are as unwieldy as a rusted musket, demanding neither true dexterity nor tactical acumen, but instead rewarding blind fortune and the reckless whimsy of the unskilled. The weaponry, naught but an ill-balanced assortment of arms, fails to provide the satisfying cadence of battle one might find in more refined pursuits. And let us not even speak of the servers, more fragile than a consumptive maiden, collapsing at the merest breath of strain.

Most galling of all, dear reader, is the so-called "teamplay," which, in theory, ought to be a symphony of coordination, yet in practice is a discordant cacophony of missteps and betrayal. One’s allies, if they may even be so named, abandon their posts with the fickleness of a summer breeze, leaving the battlefield a lonesome and forsaken place where only frustration reigns supreme.

Thus, I adjure you, shun this loathsome mockery of a game, as one would shun a snake in the underbrush, or a treacherous hand at cards. Seek instead diversions that uplift the spirit and challenge the mind, for Apex Legends is naught but a fool’s errand, a carnival of disappointment masquerading as a noble pursuit.

It's fun when you play with a good group of friends BUT when it comes to Randoms you just want to punch them in their throat at times. Store and season pass is pointless. May Mad Maggie stomp and spit on your decaying body.
