If you're not fast enough to outrun the cops the you will have to out manoeuvre them. Jumps can be helpful but only when they don't have the ability to simply drive around the ramp, the mall in the middle of the map is also a great way to get away from them.

If you want I would also be willing to race with you at night and i'll try my best to keep the cops off you, plus you'll get multiplayer bonuses.

Hmm it is not so annoying after performance upgrade and in city, it was just bad awhile at start...

Hmm nah based on what you have, cops can destroy you quickly or you hit car 1 time and it is over...

Just like 1-2 race heat levels increase too quickly and you might not get away, have to wait for better car...

I dont know what exact car you are using, or your exact upgrades. But I bought my own low level mustang, put a few basic parts into it, got it to 197 score, top speed is 164, although in the recording im usually going slower than 100mph :p

i guess it can be a skill issue, but go to the pier and jump to the containers works every time.

I just change directions a lot, put buildings in between me and the cops, jump off the road on hills, swirve in between cars. If you think youre outrunning the cops you are wrong, you gotta out maneuver them. Thats why you have the police on your map, and thats why you have the police radio to figure out what they are doing.

They are NPCs after all, not people, You can outsmart them.

Helps as well that you can reset your nitro charges by hitting a gas station. use however many nitro charges you got just before you hit a gas station, go into the station for a flyby reset nitro and nitro again x2

try jumping, they'll lose you
