I sank right into it. I wanted to throw down the throttle and this let me crush everything in my way. Hooray for paper thin hazards. Once you figure out that cops automatically crash when clearing a jump it got really easy.

I wish you could sell cars from your inventory. When buying new cars, I wish you could compare to vehicles already in your garage. You can copy the wrap from other cars but it won't copy the license plate for some reason. And, turning music off in the menu doesn't get rid of the on-screen text when songs change.

Otherwise, I liked that they had the campaign and also separate story lines for the different types of racing. Gathering all the collectibles felt a lot faster in a car. The speed traps and jumps were harmless but traffic really didn't want to cooperate on some of the drifts. Very satisfying completion.

This is one of the better NFS games within this past decade. The customization is very much improved compared to NFS Payback's card system. The day/night cycle made you choose if you'll play it safe or take a risk. Cop chases were thrilling and fun, even though it may be too challenging for new players. To me it kinda felt empty after the story, of course you can go for 100 percent completion, and online is a blast, but the world seems so cold and empty when there is no story to keep you interacting with it.

-the car control may seem a little strange in the first days, but you will get used to it and appreciate it later.

the game has a small problem with CPU optimization, it is a CPU Eater, which means it eats between 70-95% of a new generation processor, but if you limit it to 4 cores and 8 threads, it will work just as well, but it will consume less cpu.
I recommend using the "user.cfg" file in the game folder.
