Gameplay is very nice, Story is also pretty nice, along side story for drift and off-road. If ur going for Achievement wise its going to take a hot minute even for online player achievement but also grindy for Crew level 50 max. Awesome game worth getting but only when its in special sale not worth overpaying.

The most fun the NFS universe has been in a looooooooong time!

TL;DR: A solid racer with high-speed thrills, a great soundtrack, and tons of customization—held back by a weak story and extreme hardware temperatures.

The core appeal of Need for Speed Heat is the feeling of speed, blazing down streets at over 200 MPH in heavily customized cars. And that is where the game really shines. It is arcade racing and not realistic at all, but still fun.

I don't think many people play NFS games for their groundbreaking storytelling, but even by those standards, this one is forgettable. The characters don't stand out, and the overall story is lacking. However, the nighttime atmosphere, racing visuals, and soundtrack do a great job of immersing you in the racing scene.

Performance: The hottest-running game I have ever played. The game crashed on me several times, which lead to me evaluating my thermal paste on my CPU. Granted it needed to be reapplied, but none of the other games I had played caused my system to heat up so much to where I knew this was even a problem. I would strongly recommend monitoring your system while playing this game.

Bugs: No major issues, but the heat levels were initially very concerning.

Played fine on medium settings on Steam Deck LCD. Each session required me to connect my steam deck to my mobile hotspot on my phone to be able to play as it required being connected to an internet connection to startup the game. That sucks.

High replayability. Customizing cars and racing never really gets old.
