re install the older Nvidia driver for your graphics card.

I'm having this problem too and I don't think Nvidia drivers have anything to do with it. Unless I somehow have updated Nvidia drivers for my AMD card.
Yup, same problem. I've uninstalled the game for now.

Had the same problem, managed to fix it.

Go to your Halo install folder (Can just right click in your library and "Browse local files"), Open up "videos",
Remove "Intro" and "startup_sequence_loading".

I just moved them out of the folder so they get skipped on startup. It worked for me, might work for you too!

Holy mother of jeebus that actually fixed it. I don't recall having any game or driver updates on my end, so why did the videos suddenly become an issue?

Thanks to you I'll finally have more hours in-game than trying to get it to load :steamhappy:

Brother, thank you so much. Haven't been able to play because of the start-up crashes and this fixed it right up.

I set my launch option to -windowed and that seemed to do the trick for now

Tried this, now it just crashes faster lol. Freshly installed RX 7600. I have tried many different drivers from AMD updated bios, everything I can think of. Was running just fine previously with my RX580. This is the only game I am having issues with. MCC runs fine as well.

I hate that this worked. I was worried because the game loaded into a black screen with a cursor for a while but a bit of waiting had me finally load in which hadn’t happened for almost a month now….
I reinstalled Halo Infinite about 10 days ago and ran into this issue today. When I launched the game, it would freeze and then crash either during the landscape loading screen or the stupid 343i logo splash animation. I was at a loss since this didn't happen when I booted the game after reinstalling it. But removing those two video sequences fixed the problem. This game is built horrendously lmao
