You can't be in offline mode, for one thing.

Seamless runs in offline mode. That error is normal. The Seamless save is only meant for offline play, which is why it is separate from your online save.

It's in the description:
"You must be signed into Steam, and not in be offline mode to use the mod.

You will get the items required to play seamless co-op when you rest at a site of grace."

To further expound, the dev has made it so the seamless modded* game cannot run online* if your steam account is not online. It has a verification service against pirated versions of the game.

If your issue isn't an online/offline thing, Seamless was recently updated, so make sure you're up to date.

Actually my friend don't get a message like me, it was welcome message. and I don't get the items when rest at a site of grace. I googled very much but there's no one like me.

Have you been able to run Seamless before or is it a first time install? If it's a first time install, you might try share screening with your friend to see if you missed a step in the installation or put a file in the wrong place. The only other things I can think of are:

- maybe when the mod save file location wasn't made properly. To check this, look in
OS(C:) > Users > your user name > AppData > Roaming > EldenRing, and then look to see if you have a folder in there containing ER0000.co2 and ER0000.co2.bak, I know I almost made the file names c02 on accident, so I guess check the zeroes and Os are correct. If the .co2 files aren't there, then look for the folder with the files named ER0000.sl2 and ER0000.sl2bak. and copy them and rename the copies to be the same, but replace the .sl2 with .co2 (including the .bak, obviously) This will copy your main game saves into the mod, if you want a fresh start, feel free to delete them in game, this will only effect the saves in the mod, so your saves outside the mod will be safe. Last note on this, never try to convert the .co2 files back to .sl2, this will get you banned.

- did you apply any settings in the .ini file? The mod has an .ini file for settings in the game, you need to at least set a password, the mod page has a good image of the default settings, so you could make sure it matches in the event that you accidentally applied an invalid setting, or left out a space that needed to be there, I could see people accidentally putting
;Session password
cooppassword =password
instead of
;Session password
cooppassword = password
That space is important^

- Try right clicking the launcher file and setting it to run as administrator, and if that doesn't work, check to make sure your firewall's not blocking the mod, thinking it's a virus.
