If you smash it he goes to 0 loyalty, but that doesn't matter as long as you have everyone elses' vote tbh. Grimley only has four people on his side.
If you laugh it off on the first instance and then ignore the second instance, Templeton will directly intervene causing a punch up between him and Grimley.
You then get different options to deal with it and it's not brought up again tbh.

second time i decided to let him , wich lead Templeton to confront Grimley. One of the options there gave me a huge boost with Grimley
i remember thinking "Templeton this is the most usefull thing that you ever did and you arent even aware of it"
Yeah I was like... amazed at how his jerkishness turned around my situation with Grimley instead of making it worse.
esp when combined with the loyalty boost from jumping between kurt and hammond a bit later, grimley is closer to loyal than i ever believed??
