ACHIVEMENTS of different colours

Why some of my trophies pop up gray, like when I'm offline (but I'm definitely not), and not register in the statistic? Another thing: the same (gray) trophies can pop up two and even three times a row. Wierd. Love your game! Thanks in advance.

Its tracking your progress, letting you know that you're on your way to completing it. I just wish they would have added the tracking bar to the achievement itself, im on my last one and its the stupid bag one.

Valve broke in-progress notifications of achievements when they overhauled the Steam UI some time back. They have never fixed it as in-progress notifications don't show your current progress. You'll have to look at the in-game achievement list or the list in your Steam Library to see your current progress to unlocking certain achievements.
