COMMON BUG FIXES
Here you will find a list of possible fixes for some common problems you may have while playing DEVOUR:


MINIMUM SPECS FOR DEVOUR

OS: Windows 10 - 64 bit
Processor: Intel i5 or new-gen i3 / AMD equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 290
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 6 GB available space


GRAPHICS ISSUES / CRASHING / LOADING

1. Uninstall any game cheats
2. Ensure your video and audio drivers are up-to-date. Press Windows key + x → Click "Device Manager" → Click "Audio Inputs and Outputs" → Right click any items which have warning symbols and install drivers. Do the same for the "Display adapters".
3. Enable Vsync in-game
4. Lower your graphics settings in-game
5. Lower your resolution in-game
6. Set an FPS limit in-game
7. Overclocked GPUs (including factory overclocking) can sometimes cause crashes within games built with Unity. Try reducing your core clock down to stock level using a 3rd party tool such as MSI Afterburner.


NETWORK AND CONNECTIVITY

1. Restart Steam.
2. Disable your anti-virus and firewall applications such as Norton, BitDefender, or Avast.
3. If you are using a VPN, disable it.
4. Ensure you are on the correct version of the game.
5. Try swapping around who is hosting in order to pin down which connection is most likely having the issue.
6. NAT punch-through can be disabled by launching the game with argument --disable-nat-punchthrough. This will fallback to connecting via a relay server. As long as your machine is able to connect via relay then your chances of successful connection will be significantly increased at the cost of slightly higher latency. AUDIO NOT WORKING

If you see FMOD errors in your logs (see below on how to find your logs) then its likely one of the solutions in this thread will work for you.

Player Logs can be found here:

Windows: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Straight Back Games\DEVOUR
Mac: /Users/<YOUR_USERNAME>/Library/Logs/Straight Back Games/DEVOUR

On Windows the easiest way to open the logs path is to press Windows key + R, copy & paste the path above in and press OK.
