The game has been out for almost, 3 years now? Even has DLC they just released. I waited for more time and updates before making this review.
...The foundations and the structures on top of them still don't line up.

To picture what I mean:
Imagine a foundation is a 1x1 square.
The habitat place above it, is a 1x1 square.
The game snaps every building in increments. You'd think this would snap the habitat at say, the 0/0.25/0.5/0.75 points. Maybe to the 0/0.2/0.4/0.6/0.8 points.
No, instead, it'll snap to, say, 0.5 on one side, but 0.47 on the other. This compounds the more structures you build side by side, so the bigger structures you make get a little more 'wrong' the bigger you make them. Your choice is to either never use foundations and just deal with randomly floating structures, or try to ignore how things refuse to line up.

Is it a minor thing? Obviously, but it's worth pointing out for people who...can't overlook something like that. If not for that I'd recommend the game.

Really enjoyable game. Playing with my son, it's a game for all ages. No shooting required :-) You crash land on a planet, and then slowly work on exploring the planet, seeking resources, building bases, enhancing your tools. Gradually the planet becomes a liveable world. Good tip is to build your base higher up; eventually, big lakes will form, flooding anything lower down. Surprisingly good fun, and engrossing. Highly recommended.

Thought it would be super simplistic and has kinda meh graphics.

Subnautica but with a twist. There is more to do in this game and buildings/harvesting is way more important than the discovery aspect of the Sub game. If you like one game, you should like the other. I'm only only halfway through the game so I'm sure I have alot more to discover.

Fun crafting and allowing focus on survival rather than combat. Been playing over the course of development, and the team behind this game genuinely care about crafting a good experience and listening to feedback!

Do you like numbers going up? Do you like stockpiling dozens of chests of a single resource? Do you like the idea of hardcore drugs but think they're too expensive? Then Planet Crafter is the game for you!

At first you will want just a little more food, water, and oxygen to refill the constantly depleting survival meters but very soon you will solve that problem only to realize you are just a few hours into your shiny new scifi addiction. You will dash around snatching up every ore you can find lying around literally everywhere, sometimes coming across dopamine in a box aka chests. These chests will dangle goodies in front of you like seeds for your garden or flowers for your oxygen producers.

Did I forget to mention you are an interstellar convict whose sentence will be commuted once you completely terraform a planet and watch it's ecosystem come to life before your very eyes? The Terraformation Index, helpfully abbreviated to TI in the UI so your brain can focus on finding just one more uranium to build another nuclear reactor which will seemlessly power your ever expanding terraformation operation.

Anyway, back to the flowers. So you use flowers to produce more oxygen while using food seeds to make snacks to keep you alive while exploring this gloriously desolate yet nubile wasteland. All the while your drills will increase pressure and your heaters will, get this, increase heat. I know, an amazing concept. As the TI goes up so does the cost for the next level which means you need T2 then T3 and then T4 of everything to keep advancing.

Discover brand new resource types and blueprints scattered around the world before you launch rockets into space to help you map out this now gargantuan play area. Seed life in the freshly melted lakes then mutate that life to serve your own needs. Drive a truck to add additional storage capacity to your inventory as you frantically trek from outpost to outpost looking for more and more stuff. And partake in every homosapiens' favorite past time, exploding natural rock formations to lay claim to the resources the soil dared to hide from you.

TLDR: It's Satisfactory without the math getting in the way. HOOK. IT. TO. MY. VEINS!

Marriage of Subnautica and Surviving Mars. Game mechanics are very similar. A bit of a grind, but otherwise very addictive terraforming game to be played with like-minded friends & lovers.

so addictive . Time flies when your playing this . Played with a friend and off the get go we played 9.5 hrs straight . Didn't feel like 9 hrs had gone by , but it was fun. We had a ball. Go out buy it and go it alone or with friends . You will see what I mean .. Loved it lots and still so much to do

This is a great game, interesting and lots to do. However, when you get to the end game and try to get everything organised and trade rockets selling stuff, the drone system breaks down and doesn't work. Please fix this as I would like to actually be able to finish a game.
