Just a question about the decision to Wipe TOMCATS mind in Chapter 3 If you delete their memory, does it lock you out of being able to merge with golden in the end of the game or is it just a throwaway choice?

Came on the forums to see how many people are talking about the game because it didn't show up anywhere on top sellers. And yep looks pretty... dead. Picked it up alongside Mullet Madjack which is anouther indie cyberpunk game iv been looking forward to, just waiting for the clock to run out here at work, first impressions?...
