60 FPS cap in a 2023 2d roguelike is embarressing and indefensible.

Instantly refunded. Maybe this sounds petty but similar games that came out years ago have unlocked FPS caps, and when I buy a game of this genre Im expecting at least a comparable experience. But going from, say, Enter the Gungeon at 144fps to this at 60 feels so incredibly bad and choppy that it's simply not worth it. There's as slough of other games out there who understand how much this matters, so I'm just gonna refund and buy one of those instead. Seriously, this is so frustrating and unnecessary.

It is a little off at first, but 15 minutes into it you really don't even notice.

man i don't understand you. who knows why it's limited to 60 fps but it doesnt ruin the experience at all, and this is coming from a person who is VERY picky about their frame rates. 2d roguelikes dont need more than 60 fps, especially because this game gets so much right in spite of that.

if you really want an explanation for your trivial problem go tune in to one of the devs' streams and ask them, they do them every wednesday.

I can wrap my head around being annoyed at 30, and WANTING higher than 60, but 60 is... Perfectly fine? Under any circumstances?

This is a ridiculous complaint. And I'm someone that can't play competitive FPS's under 144fps. This game runs absolutely smooth at 60fps and is a solo PvE game that's 2d at that. Yeah it'd be nice if it supported higher but it's absolutely not needed for this kinda game.
