Did you still not get it that Epic no longer wants to bother with UT franchise anymore ?
They removed it from all stores. Even GOG.

The only thing they want from you is to spend money on those skins Fortsauce that is only popular thanks to Rule 34.

maybe the industry decided not to make such games because they're not profitable long term

fortnite players don't compete with unreal players. It doesn't really make any sense not to also have unreal imo.
