Great art and music.

A cute game but i couldnt recommend it.

1. Stylish art style and music.

2. The control felt a bit sluggish and delayed. The maneuver doesnt feel good generally.

3. 2D character and 3D world looks good but combined with the limited bad camera angle become a nightmare. Vision are often blocked when mid-air or in narrow spaces. Its difficult too determine the landing.

4. Developer try to compensate it by giving ability to hovering a bit during falling and design a lot of open space which leads to another problems like the action just doesnt feel fluid enough and the level got many empty open area. The levels the platforming feel not connected and not cohesive. The limited number customize checkpoint system is quite stupid since you dont know how long the level or the current platforming sequence will be, most of the time you either place it too early or too late.

5. The camera angle and targeting of the grappling hook is literally one the worst that i have encountered. Died dozen times in the first boss fight because of it.

6. The fighting between platforming is so meaningless.

7. Overrated. Obviously I am not good at this game but i still managed to beat the first boss under 2 hours. However the steam achievement shows only got less than 25% people have done it.

8. There are better games in the same genre. Sadly this one doesnt offer anything unique and is not well designed.

I absolutely love this game! It's so much fun. I am a big fan of the original Spyro trilogy and in ways this game reminds me of them. The art style is lovely, and the soundtrack is top notch. And the characters and enemies alike are charming in their own ways. One of my favorite games I have played in 2024.
