I haven't finished the game yet but the first two games by Deconstructeam ended in sorta bittersweet/melancholic/thought-provoking ways. They seem to go less for the everything is perfect or everything is tragic outlooks. Although those were more cyberpunk in style, this could be a little lighter in theme

I chose to give up Immortality because being Immortal seemed like a miserable ending in and of itself, especially if you have to sacrifice someone you love or an entire community to keep it. A natural death is the best outcome any of us can ever hope for, but I do agree... we got less of a happy ending than Patrice did before we turned her into a witch, it seems. Would be nice to have seen some other people on that beach with us at the end.

Depends on what is a "good" ending for you, I sacrificed my sister who wanted to die anyway and became an immortal supreme empress. For me that's a good one.
